Hope Ek A.S.H.A. is a voluntary organization dedicated to the care of Alzheimer’s disease patients and their caregivers. Established in 2001, the organization has been relentlessly in building a dementia-friendly society by providing much needed care support system to people suffering with Alzheimer’s disease and their caregivers through their various intervention models. It also extends its help and support to the community with practical training and counselling for effective management of the disease. The organization also holds special consultative status by United Nations ECOSOC. It is registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 with the Registrar of Societies, Delhi.

Hope Ek A.S.H.A. also runs a full-fledged day and residential care centre in Delhi, named A.S.H.A. (Affectionate Secured Home for Alzheimer’s) in New Delhi for persons with dementia where they are provided a safe, secured and congenial environment, under the supervision of empathetic, professional caregivers, nurses, doctors and other staff members.
