NGO was registered under section 11(1) of Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act. 2010 and FCRA Number was allotted.
The Hans Foundation, New Delhi has signed MOU with our NGO in April 2019 to start an “Affectionate Secured Home for Alzheimer’s - ASHA” and has extended its support for three years in operational expenses.
We are the first NGO establishing an “Affectionate Secured Home for Alzheimer's” first of its kind in Northern India and in NCT of Delhi. Hope Ek A.S.H.A. is a STANDALONE NGO caring for BOTH Alzheimer’s disease patients and their caregivers.Currently our NGO has 100+ caregivers and their families globally associated voluntarily.
In September 2020 and 2021 - The World Alzheimer’s Month, “The Week” magazine published a 4-pager jacket / cover on cover, containing information on Dementia to make people aware of this dreadful disease. The activities at NGO were also highlighted so that the people can be benefited from our services.
